This weekend, starting on Friday, November 9, there are several opportunities to meet our members and neighboring artists right here in Brooklyn. We look forward to showing our art and talking about what we love to do:
Friday, November 9, opening night party
THE CIRCLE SHOW
group exhibition at ShapeShifter Lab, 18 Whitwell Place
You are cordially invited to the Opening Night Party for the Circle Show, a group exhibition curated by ArtsPSWT member Jonathan Blum that will feature circular art made by over 20 local artists. ArtsPSWT members Raya Dukhan, Dara Oshin, Robin Roi, Sean Qualls and Jonathan Blum will be participating. The show runs through January 11, 2019. Opening night, there will be continuous live music all night long with a slew, (yes, a slew!) of musicians assembled by Dave Miller, starting with solo masters and finishing with a 15-piece brass band! Compelling Reasons, new watercolors in the Project Space
440 Gallery, 440 Sixth Avenue, near 9th Street
Joy is showing new work created this summer. On Sunday, she’ll participate in a panel discussion with other artist-members of 440 Gallery to discuss the work that is on view in the current shows. Moderated by gallery-director Amy Williams, everyone is invited to ask questions and linger afterwards to talk to the artists about their artwork. Info here
