Bob Hagan’s Universe will be on view to examine, ponder and discuss this weekend

Update: Weather delays notwithstanding, Open Space Gallery will relaunch.

This weekend, July 14, 6/15 Green Community Garden on Sixth Avenue & 15th Street is part of Open Garden, one of 50 NYC Community Gardens open to the public. Despite several rain-outs, the Garden is relaunching its Open Space Gallery and will feature the multimedia artwork of Bob Hagan. Bob’s piece Universe is an excursion that takes us from the Creation to the End of the World—accompanied by a cast of characters ranging from Eve to the philosopher Thomas Hobbes, to...the Grudger? (Whoever could that be?)

Says Hagan, “Hobbes? That’s the 1700's guy who coined the term “War of All Against All.” The Grudger? Hint: he's somebody from game theory - the prisoner's dilemma - who NEVER cooperates.  Evolution says that Grudgers lose in the end.

Come by and meet Bob and discuss. 11am—2pm.
