Check out Jonathan Blum’s mural for Red Nose Day

Painter Jonathan Blum was commissioned by Red Nose Day to paint a 21 by 14 foot mural of his iconic Liberty image at the Boys & Girls Club on Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn. The challenge: Jonathan only had one week to do it and there was lots of rain in the forecast. It was a bit overwhelming but sometimes everything works out. There was an unveiling for the mural at a big block party on Monday, May 21. And Jonathan’s Lady Liberty looks just great without a red nose!
