Robin Roi “The Root of The Matter” solo show opens next week

“The Root of The Matter” a solo show of mixed media works on paper by Robin Roi is presented by Welancora Gallery and the NU Hotel. The show opens of Wednesday, July 17 with an opening reception from 6 to 8:30 and Robin welcomes all visitors. The show will run through September 20, and can be viewed from noon to 8pm daily. The NU Hotel is located at 85 Smith Street near Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.

Robin Roi’s work is centered around a botanic theme that she specifically selected in support of the Nu Hotel’s partnership with Brooklyn Botanic Garden. This botanic theme runs throughout Roi’s current series of works on paper and reflects her lifelong love of plants—including gardening, running barefoot in the grass and digging in the mud.
