Donate to CHIPS

CHIPS, the local Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry on Sackett and Fourth Ave has recently had an upsurge in the number of meals it needs to provide because New York City has designated the Holiday Inn at 625 Union Street as a family shelter for asylum seekers. The number of breakfasts and lunches needed has doubled in the last week; and is now at 100/300 per day.

In-kind donations are welcome 9-11 M-S. CHIPS especially needs items for people without cooking facilities, eg cereal and shelf stable milk, cheese and crackers etc.

Cash donations allow purchase of bulk items used in cooked lunches.  Please donate at their website
